Pacquiao vs. Mosley Odds: Manny Pacquiao is Heavy Favorite

by admin on June 5, 2011

WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao and title challenger Shane Mosley prepare to walk into the ring tonight, May 7 on the MGM Grand.

With Pacquiao having no losses since 2005, Mosley will be the huge underdog inside ring as well as in chances maker’s books.

Around this morning, Mosley is a 5.5-1 odds on underdog, while Pacquiao could be the 8.5-1 odds on favorite to win this fight.

While Pacquiao is clearly the greater fighter now of his career than Mosley is, these are the basic form of fights that end up having an upset.

I don’t believe Pacquiao has brought Mosley lightly, when I saw Mosley speaking with ESPN Boxing analyst Teddy Atlas, I really could hear in his voice that you’ve a new determination as part of his voice.

Mosley is an excellent fighter who even at 39 years old can cause an actual threat as to the Pacquiao is attempting to perform. At theses odds, a wager on Mosley is a heavy risk, nevertheless it would be a substantial payout.
